DAVILA Y CIA. ABOGADOS is a firm founded over 30 years ago, established by attorneys Marcos Alberto Dávila Letelier and Carlos Dávila Izquierdo. Over the years, many highly experienced and qualified lawyers have joined the team, all of whom are deeply committed to their cases and clients.
Our Firm provides legal services both to individuals and companies. Regarding our counseling of individuals, we strive to create a close-knit relationship of trust with our clients, favoring personal and direct contact with each of them, so that our clients know that they will have the support and counsel required to handle their legal affairs.

MARCOS ALBERTO DAVILA LETELIER

Attorney from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, admitted to practice in 1967. Founding partner of Davila y Cia. Abogados. His prior work experience includes the position of head of the legal division at the Superintendence of Securities and Insurances (Superintendencia de Valores y Seguros), and as in-house counsel at Banco de Talca, Centrobanco and Banco de Santiago. He serves as external counsel and advisor of the National Council of the Accountants Guild of Chile (Colegio de Contadores de Chile A.G.) and of various publicly traded corporations.
His areas of expertise are mainly related to the fields of corporate and commercial law, litigation and legal consultancy for companies. He has taught multiple specialization courses in corporate law.
CARLOS DAVILA IZQUIERDO

Attorney from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, admitted to practice in 1994. Founding partner of Dávila y Cia. Abogados. Postgraduate Diploma in Criminal Procedural Reform from Universidad de Chile and Contracts and Tax Law from Universidad Finis Terrae. He has served as legal counsel for Bankruptcy Trustees and as a litigator for the State Defense Council (Consejo de Defensa del Estado) in criminal and tax proceedings. Board member of several companies and corporations. He is a member of the Chilean Bar Association (Colegio de Abogados A.G.)
His practice areas focus on civil and commercial litigation, arbitration, and data protection. He has broad experience in corporate and family law disputes, particularly where property distribution is contested. He has taught specialization courses on civil law and family law.
PABLO DEL REAL BARROS

Attorney from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, admitted to practice in 1998. Master’s Degree in Tax Law from Universidad de Chile. He previously worked as an attorney in the firm of Mr. Pedro Castro Schneider and currently at Davila y Cia. Abogados.
He specializes mainly in tax, corporate and civil issues. He has vast experience in corporate and commercial affairs, as well as in legal consultancy for companies.
MARÍA FRANCISCA AHUMADA ALARCÓN

Attorney from Universidad de Chile, admitted to practice in 2013. She previously worked as a paralegal in the consumer protection group of law firm Carey y Cia. Associate at Davila y Cia. Abogados since the year 2011. She is currently enrolled in the Master’s Degree Program on Business Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
Her practice is focused mainly on civil, labor, corporate and family law matters. She has broad experience in litigation and data protection.
CAMILA FERNANDA NECUL BENÍTEZ

Attorney from Universidad Diego Portales, admitted to practice in 2013. Master of Laws in in Public Law and Constitutional Litigation from Universidad Diego Portales. She was a research assistant in Constitutional Law in that same University. Postgraduate Diploma in Litigation and New Procedures from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Previously worked as a litigation attorney at Brunaud y Cia., García Nadal y Cia. and Socofin S.A. She has been an associate at Dávila y Cia. Abogados since 2018.
She specializes mainly in civil law, bankruptcy law and arbitration. She has broad experience in litigation before civil courts.
CARLOS ALBERTO MÓVIL NOBOA

Bachelor in Legal Sciences from Universidad del Zulia, Venezuela, graduated in 2014. He was previously employed as an attorney at the law firm Estudio Jurídico Álvarez y Asociados, in Venezuela. He has been a paralegal in the litigation group in Dávila y Cia. Abogados since the year 2016.
His main tasks include supporting the review and processing of cases before the courts of law, proceedings before public and private bodies, and other procedural formalities commonly entrusted to litigation paralegals.

We also possess vast experience in judicial and out-of-court representation in Family Law, especially when such issues pertain to complex property issues, in connection with family offices, liquidation of marital property, community of acquets and gains, and matters related to inheritances and estates.
